Terms and conditions statement

By completing the booking form for the services provided by sacredlinesmtb and David Mcilrath (‘both referred to as ‘the company’). You or anyone else you are booking on behalf of (“you” or “your”) is deemed to have read understood and agree to the terms and conditions and as such have provided all relevant information required.  Further by using this service you agree to the terms and conditions set out below, if you do not agree with these please do not use this service.

Errors & Omissions

This site and the pages that hold information relating to its services advertised and products are held for information purposes only. Sacredlinesmtb cannot be held responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information transmitted or made available and shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the information.

Intellectual property rights provision

The site, its original content, logos, pictures and written information are all owned by David Mcilrath and sacredlinesmtb and only ‘the company’ has the right to the use of this content found within the sacredlinesmtb website.

Acceptance of risk and responsibilities as a client

You are fully aware and accept that outdoor activities (including but not limited to mountain biking) can present themselves to be hazardous and therefore carry risk and discomfort while participating in the activity. You accept and take full responsibility for your actions while riding your bike with sacredlinesmtb and ride in an appropriate manner that reduces these risks.

David Mcilrath/sacredlinesmtb cannot take any responsibility for any injuries, damage or death that resulted from taking part in these services.

The equipment that you bring for your booked activity must be safe and fit for the purpose of mountain biking.  I.e. helmet is up to date and is a certified cycling helmet with no cracks or crash damage and fits securely.  Furthermore, your bike is safe to ride and everything is in good working order. You will be responsible for any defects that may arise on your bike and to either fix these yourself or seek assistance.  

Whilst out on a guided ride or coaching session with sacredlinesmtb you will abide by the rules and advice that the guide/coach informs you of and sets out. We reserve the right to remove any person or persons from the ride or coaching session if their behaviour or attitude is detrimental to their own safety or the safety of the group and guide/coach.  In this instance/circumstance NO refund will be given.

A certified cycling helmet must be worn at all times while on the bicycle.

Payment policy

50% deposit will be required at the time of booking. Full payment must be paid 4 weeks prior to the date of your course.

Payment will be gathered via PayPal or bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy by the Client

  • Cancellation in the 7days prior to the start date of your course no refund will be given.
  • Cancellation in 7-28 days prior to the start date of your course you will get 50% refund of your full payment.
  • Cancellation after 28days you will receive a full refund. (Bear in mind we are a small business so we do ask if people can try to avoid this if possible)

We fully understand and appreciate that there may also be special cases for cancellations and we are willing to consider these and can offer alternative dates etc.

Cancellation Policy by Us Sacredlinesmtb

If there is any unseen circumstance that should occur which is out of our control such as riots, protests, war, viruses, fire, adverse weather conditions, seasonal activities, lambing, pheasant/grouse shooting or any other natural disaster, Sacredlinesmtb will provide an alternative date to which you can book onto or if this is not appropriate we will offer you a full refund. 

If there is a cancellation by Sacredlinesmtb due to any other circumstances, Sacredlinesmtb will again offer an alternative date or a full refund.

Change of Services advertised

Sacredlinesmtb reserve the right to change the services or products that we have advertised on our website or social media accounts at any time without prior notice.  Either to terminate a service, suspend or alter. This can include any aspect of the services or products the company offers and they do not need to provide any reason for this.  We will not be held liable for changes.

Final Thoughts

Ultimately we want you to have the best experience with us riding your bike; this is why we set out these terms and conditions along with the booking forms and waivers.  These documents keep everyone informed and aware of what we do and how we try to minimise risk and promote good times!
