Our responsibilities to you the client

We will be conducting ourselves in a professional manner and following the latest government guidelines where ever possible in terms of social distancing and minimising contact with you and members of your group.  We will base all our decisions on the principles of being, safe, lawful, clear and realistic.

Due to the dynamic nature of being outside in the mountains, there may be occasions where ideal Covid secure measures cannot be followed, in times of an emergency or incident where the immediate health and safety of a client or member of the public takes priority. With this in mind there has to be a mutual agreement between the client and guide/coach that these scenarios may present themselves.

Your responsibilities as the Client

We require you to follow government guidelines and rules and act in a manner that does not increase any unnecessary risk to yourself, your guide/coach or any other members within your group or wider general public.  The nature of the activity involves traveling across hills and areas where we are likely to come into contact with other members of the public and local communities. It is vital that we collectively work together to mitigate the risk and have a mutual respect for one another. Furthermore, we require you to be forthcoming in letting us know if you develop any symptoms or are aware of coming into contact with COVID-19. This is vital for the safety of everyone involved.

Equipment

To reduce the risk of cross contamination, we require you to be self-sufficient when riding with us by carrying the items that we have listed below-

  • Small tool kit-
    • Spare tube, tyre levers, and patches
    • Multi tool
  • Packed lunch/snacks (where required)
  • Hydration (enough for the intended ride)
  • Small first aid kit including plasters, blister pads, self medication etc.
  • Appropriate clothing for the activity including warm spares in the case of an incident
  • Face covering
  • Small tube of hand sanitizer.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any of these items are an issue for you to get hold of. As we would rather have prior notice of this and be able to try and help you get appropriately kitted out for the ride.

Cancellation Policy Due to COVID-19

If we have to cancel your booking due to a change in corona-virus restrictions we can be flexible with dates and offer you an alternative date or hold your booking until such times as it is ok to go ahead with it. Alternatively if this does not work for you we can offer you a full refund.

If you have to cancel your booking with us due to COVID-19 for reasons such as, restrictions in your area changing, or you have tested positive, displayed symptoms or come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, again we can be flexible with dates, and hold your booking enabling you to rebook sometime in the future when the time is right. If this is not appropriate we can also offer you a full refund.  We appreciate things are very uncertain at the moment so we want to make things as easy as possible for our clients.
